The Monthly Five

Each month Anne offers five exercises that include strength, balance, and mobility, with the hopes that you will do one minute of each of these every day. The photos below are meant to remind you of the moves we have done together in a class or personal training session.

The May Five

1) Baby Bear:

This is release work – your goal is to use the least amount of effort possible to roll side to side.


2) Roll Up:

Roll up (2)

Start lying on your back. Roll up to seated.

3) Plank/ Twist:

From plank, drop one hip towards the mat.


4) Chair/ Twist:

Sit in a low parallel squat, twist right and left.


5) Burpies:

Cycle through a squat, to a plank or push up, back to a squat (or jump), moving as fast as you can comfortably and without pain.
